APU and Ledgerbrains AI Consortium Forge Strategic Collaboration to Advance AI Talent Development

APU and LedgerBrains AI Consortium are thrilled to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to formalise their collaboration in artificial intelligence (AI) talent development, educational and academic programmes, and knowledge exchange.

LedgerBrains AI Consortium serves as an industry collaboration platform dedicated to promoting the responsible development and commercialisation of AI technologies.

The signing ceremony, held on 20th March 2024, marked a significant milestone in the partnership between the two organisations.

The MoU, signed by Professor Dr Ho Chin Kuan, Vice-Chancellor of Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU), and Ir Ivan Lam, Founding Member of LedgerBrains AI Consortium, underscores the mutual commitment to harness the collective strengths and expertise of both entities to drive innovation and unlock new opportunities in the AI industry.

"We are excited to embark on this journey with LedgerBrains AI Consortium," said Prof Ho.

"By compiling our resources and expertise, we are confident that we can achieve remarkable progress and leave a lasting impact in the AI landscape."

Ivan echoed this sentiment, stating that the collaboration signifies theirs and APU’s dedication to nurturing AI talents and fostering innovation.

The terms of the MoU outline a framework for collaboration, including areas such as academic, youth, and community development cooperation, to which both parties are committed to working closely to ensure the success of this venture.

In a collaborative effort, APU and LedgerBrains AI Consortium aim to promote AI talent development, enhance educational and academic programmes, facilitate information exchange, and foster connections within the startup ecosystem.
